Call Me Scarlett

When I first moved here I had many posts showing the fun items I was finding in our new home. Who can forget the Horse Lice Remover, the weired Disco rabbit, the antler rack, or many others. One I forgot to show was the guest rooms fabulous curtains
Oh, I know you're jealous. What a blessing they turned out to be. Last night I needed to wear a traditional Mexican costume. Well, since we are a long way from Mexico, and a Party City, I channeled my inner Scarlett O'Hara and created my own costume.

Every time I do laundry I sense something is watching me. Then I remember, Oh yea, the weird porcelain cow head is staring at me. When first arriving here, I thought maybe it was some kind of soap dispenser or something. After close examination I realized that it is just a cow head. Weird.

Fun Finds bathroom edition

I'm a big fan of frogs, like Kermit and Uncle Jake but I really don't want them all over my bathroom. It took me 9 long months before I changed the upstairs bathroom. Now, if any of you happen to have this same shower curtain, I apologize. However, you definately need therapy.

Friday Find

Happy Easter! Are you all asking yourselves, "Huh, I wonder if Jill is truly losing it since she has started making scary looking crafts like this four foot mad bunny? No, you can all rest easy, this is just one more of those happy items I find throughout my house. It's not quite as cool as the horse-lice-remover, or antler towel racks but it is seasonal.

Friday Find (Hunting Addition)

Whenever someone hears where we live, their immediate response is, "Oh that's the best fishing on earth." Well, I have come to realize that fishing isn't what makes this town crazy. It is HUNTING! All over town there are signs saying, "Hunters Welcome." Yes, please bring your smelly, mud-covered selves into my establishment. We will even open our safe to house your new rack! Now don't get me wrong, my brother-in-law is a hunter, and he's a nice guy. I just don't want to live hunting 24/7, which is why I need to change my towel racks.

I also found a skull and antlers of something or other in my garden. At first I thought it was a grave marker. Wouldn't that be my luck if there was some dead thing buried in my flower bed? But, I have decided it was actually put there for decoration. If I decide to dig up the ground underneath, I will let you all know. Stay tuned!

Friday Find

In moving to a new home, previous owners always tend to leave small treasures behind. Each week I am going to share one of these small fun things I now own.

How lucky am I? Now when I get my first horse, and it happens to get lice, do not fear I own Horse Lice Treatment. (Also works on swine.) Wooo hooo!
