I was so excited when our radio announcer (live from Missoula ) said, "It's going to be a beautiful day!" "Woo hooo," I thought until his next statement. "Highs in the mid 30's." Where in the world is that considered a beautiful day? Crazy people.
That's why the laws of relativity are so important... 35 is much better than -5. Not swimsuit weather, but flip flops for running to and from the car weather. Now that I read that, I suppose I'm crazy. Dumb cold weather *explative* frostbite *explative* hypothermia....
I'm just laughing about the comment you put on my blog about "borrowing" our pinewood derby car being against the scout law.
I know what you mean about the weather except it's all relative. If you've had minus 15 all week, then 30 degrees seems like 60! After 5 more years in Montana it will seem more normal to you. (I'm so mean! sorry) MISS YOU!!!!!!
When we told our 3 young boys that we would be leaving their home in Denver, and moving to small town Montana their only question was, "Will there be Sushi there?" After arriving here I have come to quickly realize that there are a lot more little quirks to deal with than just a lack of Sushi choices. I hope this might be entertaining for anyone who wants to take a peek at the ups and downs of living in small town Montana.
