I hate K-mart

Oh yea, I had previously decided not to trash on K-mart only because of my very happy Halloween find. I am sorry K-mart execs, but that ship has sailed. I am in desperate need of Candy Cane Oreos. Yes, the cookie that will change your life, and even though there is no "Bed, Bath and Beyond" to kill a few minutes of your time, life can still be good through these happy morsels of deliciousness. Yet, I have been to every grocery store in town and my final hope was K-mart. After the red vested girl said, "I have never heard of those," I went home and tried Nabisco.com and I even got so desperate that I typed into Google: "Please help me find Candy Cane Oreos in outer darkness." Needless to say nothing popped up.

Furthermore, I know my friend Kristy is reading this thinking "I just sent two boxes home with her for her FAMILY for Christmas." Sadly to say they did not survive the plane ride home.

  3. Just for fun I googled, "Please help me find candy cane oreos in outer darkness" and you're wrong about nothing popping up, because this post was #1!

  4. Candy Cane Oreos does not sound as appetizing as I would imagine. I can think of many other things that would be much more satisfying to go with oreos...but, given my girth, I have not turned down any flavor of oreo...I would give it a shot.

  6. Solution:
Throw 2 oreos on a blender. Toss in 1 candy cane. BLEND on high for 3 minutes. Dump into cup. Eat. It's probably cheaper that way!

  8. Ok, I don't know where you live in Montana - but growing up in Anaconda I get it... I too moved to the Bliss of Denver only to have it ripped away when my husband matched for residency in a little hick town in OK. As such Amazon.com has become my bestfriend for all sorts of food stuffs which do not exist here. Amazon has a feature where if it's a reoccuring order, you get 15% off & free shipping. Good luck!

  9. I was going to say just pour some scope in your regular oreos but then my wife said, "what is her address? I want to try them and send her a box." I still vote scope.

  11. Jill these tasty morsels were like Santa Claus. They came in one day, and gone the next! I too had the same problem at our small town grocery store. It's like no one else saw them or tasted them but me. I snuck downstairs in the middle of the night to polish off the "box". I sure do hope they come back for Christmas 2011!
